šŸŽ‚ ANNIVERSARY DAY UPDATE
Thanks to @ignpurple, @nongpedz, @apyg, and everyone else that worked on the Anniversary Day Update! We were able to reach over 60%+ of our monthly goal just from the release!

I want to say a thank you again to @fearkick @nazrinhedgen & @alexandergranger for supporting the most in the first 24 hours.

We think this release was awesome but there is room for improvement! We want to hit these marks for the Sweetest Confections update:

  • Clearer hyped release schedule & timing
  • More prayers to Thomas for no ddos attacks
  • Unfortunate as the attack I don't believe was targeted at OtterSMP but just a bi-product that was resolved in 30-60 minutes.
  • More events for free keys that have keys given out hours earlier.

Again, thank you for such a wonderful release. I've been incredibly happy with the release!

šŸŽ‰ 1.21.8 Update
We polled to update to 1.21.4 during the Seven Seas update and that poll was incredibly divided due to not being able to support entities/mobs/pets on an older common version (1.21.1).

However great news! @ignpurple has been a key component to making this work! We're expecting to have public beta testing to ensure that it works for the chance at winning the SUMMER POP GRADIENT & the 1.21.8 Tester title to any player that finds 5 or more unique bugs! We are excited to push this to the live version soon! More information about beta testing will be separate.

  • Note: Users of 1.21.4 who fulfill the requirements will be able to earn the summer pop when this wave is given.

We are currently planning to release the mid season update with a lot of brand new content to OtterSMP. We hope this goes great and giving a date will hype players up! Super excited to release this content!
